An event on respecting the environment. Students learnt about land, air and water pollution, with teachers running practical activities to demonstrate the effects on the environment.

The children learnt about The 3 R’s – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Activities included learning about deforestation, learning to separate every day waste for recycling, creating art and re-purposing things, rather than throwing them away and further practical ways on contributing to the welfare of the environment including walking.  The children also planted seeds, and each made a pledge on how they will play a part in saving the environment – please see our photo album and look out for pics of the pledge tree!
