Kidzania Trip

The first thing the children ask when they return in September is , where are we going on our end of year trip Ustadha?

Kidzania is a world where children experience every career they wish to and have a go at becoming adults.  They can work in sectors such as policing, dentistry, medicine delivery driving, reporting news, shopkeeping and many many more.  They’re even paid for their work placements and allowed to spend the kidzos they’ve earnt from working in the gift shop!

We love the excitement and joy we see on the children’s faces as they hurriedly climb the coach.  They began their journey with recitation of Surah Fatihah and the ‘Journey dua’ and off we went.

We arrived at Kidzania, which is at the heart of the Westfield Shopping Centre, and made our way up to the entrance all paired up two by two. The children received their entrance tags and debit cards and they were ready to go.

Our children were given free reign, once inside, and the group leaders followed around to take pictures of them in their work placements.  We encouraged the children to become firefighters, paramedics and some took inspiration in the H&M department store as fashion designers!

It's such an incredible experience for the children and drives home the ethos of becoming strong, hard working individuals when they grow from mini muslims and muslimahs!
