A visit by a renowned author

Sister Suma Din, author of ONE DAY (a book that follows fifteen different children from around the world through a 24-hour period), joined Karima School to deliver a very insightful presentation to students about different lives and cultures.

She provided a practical demonstration on time zones, of what’s happening in one side of the world while the other sleeps. Sister Suma also provided very subtle, but enlightening, examples of children’s varying experiences of both privilege and challenges.
