The Quran is a linguistic miracle, but what does that even mean? Moving one word to a different place changes the meaning, but how?

Many people spend their whole lives reciting the Qur'an and even understanding it but without experiencing its full miracle which permeates to the point to every single letter that even the enemies of Islam had to concede.

By studying Arabic rhetoric, you will be able to have a glimpse into the powerful miracle of language that is the Quran and taste that extra sweetness when reciting it.

Shaykh Sulayman Van Ael has studied Arabic grammar and rhetoric with Dr Abdullah (head of the Arabic department at Jordan University), Dr Zayneb, Dr  Fadl Abbas and Shaykh Ibn Uthamyeen.

The Prophetic soul

We will explore the Prophetic Soul by looking at the deeper teachings of
the Prophet’s beautiful supplications (ad’iya). These ad’iya reflect
the way we should feel and think and connect to the most High in every part of our
mundaine lives. We believe them to be transformative, and refuse
to believe that they were meant to be a daily routine without further results.
We will tell you how you can turn your daily supplications into steps
taking you closer to your true Love, Allah, the Majestic.

Synopsis

In 1876, the Ottoman Empire was "the sick man of Europe". It had lost vast amounts of territory and was unable to defend its citizens in the face of European Imperialism. It seemed like its death was imminently inevitable. It was at this critical juncture that Sultan Abdul Hamid took the throne.

For the next 33 years, he fought with all his will to remove the empire's debts, defend its sacred territories, face up to colonial ambitions, fight two devastating wars and ultimately to revive the faith and pride of the Muslims in that great Prophetic inheritance that had been bequeathed to him; The Caliphate.

Join us as we shine a light on this incredible figure of Islamic History with a wonderful expert in late Ottoman History.
