Following several years of running small educational projects in High Wycombe, in January 2005, the KM Foundation established its first supplementary school to assist and augment Wycombe Islamic Mission's existing projects. The aim was to impart basic Islamic Studies fusing traditional learning methods with a more contemporary approach to teaching and learning. The curriculum was redesigned to offer young people spiritual, material and moral well being as well as national curriculum subjects. The aim was to create confident young people who were aware of their Islamic heritage, successful in the education system and model citizens of High Wycombe.
